Digital Citizenship
What is Digital Citizenship?
Digital Citizenship is an idea which helps educators, technology leaders and parents comprehend what students/children/ technology users should know to utilize technology effectively.
Digital Citizenship is something other than a teaching means; it is an approach to prepare students/technology users for a world full of technology. Again and again we are seeing students and adults abusing and mishandling technology, yet are not certain what to do. The issue is more than what the users don't know, however, what is viewed as suitable technology usage. Being a decent digital citizen is more than feeling comfortable around the web. It's about associating and teaming up in ways you didn't know were conceivable.
Digital Citizenship can be defined as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to technology use.
